Anneli Tammik new work
I do not know if it is forever, but at least for a moment Anneli Tammik has turned back to her very successful “spiral period” and experimented with new subject – lines. Her exhibition “Linear” contains layers and layers of tiny, thicker, colorful, monochrome lines captured into silver frames of brooches, necklaces and pins. Twinkling digital photo frames under the plexiglass, where jewellery is displayed are creating an ambient of outer space. New technologies have been always in the focus of Anneli. This time because of the preciseness of her linear ornaments, one might get the impression that machines have been involved, but this time- pure demonstration of craft skills. I am looking forward to see the next steps too!
