R.I.P.

After intense working period I had amazing time in the garden of my parents house, cleaning pavement from snow and ice.

With my brother we took out from our library Kaljo Põllu’s print “Janu” from the series of Kodalased(1975) and lit a candle for him. This print has been part of our childhood, hanging in our bedroom. A woman bowing down before drinking water from her hands in front of mystically beautiful landscape, probably most influential image of our childhood. My brother said it was his favorite. During my studies in the Academy I got to know him personally via participating in 5 Finno-Ugric expeditions. He was a grand man.

Rest in peace!
